When I look at my artwork, I see two different meanings to this:
1. Our eyes are the gateway to our souls and that it's our window to the life around us.
2. The eye is the sun that watches over us. Aka, Mother Nature.
I was aiming to do meaning number 2, but then I saw meaning number 1 when I finished it. I'm personally happy with this piece.

- A4 110gsm Canson sketch journal
- H, F, HB, 2B, 6B Derwent Graphite Soft pencils
- 0.5 HB, 0.7 2B mechanical pencils
- Faber Castell classic coloured pencils
- Tissue, paper stump
- Ruler
- Kneaded eraser
- Duration: approx 12 - 14 hours

Originality:I have seen nothing like this. This is so well done that I could not feel anyone else could achieve something this in depth.
Technique: I love the texture of the skin and the smoothness of the eye. There is a 3D effect that I cant even explain.
Impact: I immediately fell in love with this piece. The eye draws you in and provides depth to this picture. It touches my soul and brings me through several emotions, Bliss, Awe, and Understanding.
