Another one of them Skyward Sword artworks with watercolour effects. Link playing the Goddess Harp or Lyre. There isn't an official Skyward Sword artwork created of Link doing this, except for Zelda so… I decided to make one.

Requested for staff use at ZeldaUniverse.net

"How do you make the watercolour effect?"

The watercolour effects are extremely time consuming compared to most of my other digital artworks. I first use the normal paint brushes for the base colours on Painter XI to plan the artwork out first, then I go over it with the Digital watercolour brushes for all the detailing. This process is long and tedious. When that is done, I open up Photoshop and I use my custom-made watercolour brushes for that extra watercolour effect and "blotches" made. After that, I throw over a watercolour paper texture and set it to overlay to make the artwork look like it was painted on paper. Then it's done!

I know everyone has said this, but I'm going to say it anyway: This looks beautiful and I honestly thought it was official artwork. Seriously, Nintendo would be lucky to have a talented artist such as yourself. The time and effort and patience definetley paid off.
