For those who don't know who David Tennant is, he stars as the tenth Doctor in Doctor Who and also in other movies that I don't really know of yet, except for Barty Crouch's son in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
He's an awesome actor.
Even though there are some flaws in this picture, I would say that it is one of the best that I have ever drawn for quite some time. So yes, I am proud.
It was quite a challenge, but it was all worth it in the end.
Materials used: - A4 110gsm Canson Sketch Journal - H to 8B Derwent graphite soft pencils - 0.5 HB and 0.7 2B mechanical pencil - Putty eraser (for making the streaks in his hair and for highlighting areas) - Paper stump and tissue for blending - Time taken: Days and days... - The WIPs of the picture in progress: [link] - The reference: [link]
^^^ For those that wanted to know what weird reference picture I was using, check it out above. The shadows and such were hard.
He's by far one of the best actors I've seen He can really transfer a mood or emotion and his facial expression are amazing And this portrait is just awesome as well It's very well drawn, the shading and details are great and I really love his hair ^^ To say it in his words 'Brilliant!'
