I just saw... New Moon!
This journal contains very small spoilers.Okay... So I just came back from the midnight screening, world first of New Moon. It's 2:46am as I write this (shit tired as 8D) and wow... I'm not a huge fan of Twilight or the whole "sparkly vampire" business, but the movie was just... wow.

I went to the cinemas
4 hours before it started (since I bought the tickets like months ago for my little sister's birthday) and my gawd! It was packed as! Lucky we came early... We got the best seats.

It was really funny because I would say that 96% of all the viewers were female! And some freaked me out with their obsession with Twilight and Edward... Heck, some even
dressed up to see the movie. Every seat was taken, and I had my little sister sit on one side of me and a very loud fan on the other side...
Before the movie stared at 12:01am sharp, a security guard came in and everyone went quiet as he spoke loudly at the front. He said "We are going to look around the rows from time to time during the movie and if any cameras or video recorders or even phones are used whilst the movie is playing, you will be removed, we will also take your phone for good and charge you with heavy fines of violaing piracy rules. So all technological appliances are to be switched off, screens black, and kept within your bag. Otherwise, you might just end up in jail since you guys are the first to see it worldwide." Pretty strict eh? :/
But then the movie started (after awesome ads (sarcasm)). For the movie itself, I was expecting something lower or in harsher words (crappy) since it was all fan base and stuff. But they made it really well. The werewolves of Sam's pack and Jacob was done so beautifully... I've never seen cooler wolves in all my life with their realism and awesome fighting tatics. An applause to the epic creators who made the werewolves and the outstanding animation!

It was annoying to see Jacob with his rips... The die hard fans screamed and whimpered with delight when Jacob's abs were in view. They also screamed when Edward takes his shirt off when he wanted to be killed by the Volturi. Seriously, I wanted to watch it in peace. Sure the rips were hot to others, but not to me. It doesn't attract me at all.
Bella was (is?) ... Well, she has problems. I can't understand her obsessive behaviour with that humanoid fairy guy Edward. She started to see him everywhere after he left her because he believed that his life was going to end up killing her by accident. The choices she made was idiotic to try and get over the pain by the break up (by riding motorbikes and jumping off cliffs and shit). Alice says so too...

For those who love Twilight and the series, I'm not bashing it deliberately.

I just don't like the fact that Edward plays a role to little girls that guys can be
that perfect when life is the complete opposite
He ain't hot either. I liked Jacob and his team though.
Also, the movie had some hilarious bits. I had quite a few laughs here and there. xD
My favourite scenes were the fighting scenes when Edward versed the Volutri or when Laurent versed the werewolves or the best one: When Jacob versed Quimby in werewolve form... There was some Matrix slow motion battle in there. I think they were pretty awesome.
Well, that was my experience of watching New Moon. It's definitely a movie that everyone should watch; haters or lovers alike. It goes for roughly 2 hrs and 15 mins, so go to the bathroom before you watch it.
Ooo! And I am in the mood to draw some "fanart" of New Moon.

Sorry haters, but it's not like I will stick to it. You will see other artworks that will have no relation to Twilight whatsoever in-between the deviations. I need other projects to finish first.
So there you have it.

I liked the movie. I really did.
Now, go watch it.
